Baseball Falls Out of Top 20 in Second Week of USCAA Coaches Poll

The USCAA released the second week of the coaches poll for baseball today as the chase towards the national championship continues.

In the first week of the poll, the Mountaineers were ranked #18 and received 156 points, being 21 points behind the 17th spot in the poll. In today's poll, Berea dropped out of the top 20 and into the other receiving votes category. After the first week of ranking were released, the Mountaineers split a doubleheader with Hiwasse College but was swept by the Univeristy of Pikeville. 

The Mountaineers will try to get themselves back in the top 20 as they host the #2 Crusaders of Tennessee Temple this weekend. The first game of their three game series is today, April 10th, with a doubleheader to follow on Saturday.
