Berea, KY. – The William Peace Pacers come into Berea and stole a win from the Mountaineers who were the winners of three straight. The Pacers pull out a 74-69 victory behind the 19 points and 7 rebounds of John Ingram.

The Mountaineers did not come out ready to play, getting completely outworked by the Pacers in the first half. Berea gave up 31 rebounds, 11 on the offensive end to the Pacers in the first half. The Mountaineers only pulled in 20 total rebounds and only 1 offensive rebound. Despite the poor play by the Mountaineers, the Pacers went into halftime with only a 36-34 lead.

The Mountaineers picked up their rebounding in the second half, but the Pacers picked up their shooting and continued to rebound the ball well. Caudill and Carter continued their hot play for the Mountaineers and fought to keep the Mountaineers in the game. However, it was just not enough for Berea as they fell to William Peace University 74-69.

Isaac Caudill contributed 18 points and 11 rebounds for Berea while Torell Carter led the Mountaineers with 22 points, 8 rebounds, and 4 assists.

The Mountaineers will stay at home this weekend as they host Lagrange College. That game will began at 2:00 PM on Saturday, February 9.
