State College, PA - The USCAA announced it's golf All-Americans and Coach of the Year awards at the Championship Banquet following the Invitational.  sophomore Kevin Kim and Head Coach Trent Milby both received honors at the banquet.

Kevin was named All American by the USCAA after his 7th place finish at the national championships. He led the Mountaineers to a 8th place team finish which was a large improvement from the previous year.  Kevin led the mountaineers at every golf tournament this season and even picked up the individual title at the Dick Park Invitational, hosted by Franklin University.

Head Coach Trent Milby was named USCAA Golf Coach of the Year at the banquet as well.  Coach Milby is in his second season as the head coach at Berea and the Berea golf team dramatically improved their stroke this season. Coach Milby had several players ranked in the USCAA coming into the National Championships.

"It is a great honor to be named USCAA National Golf Coach of the Year……A lot of the credit goes to these great young men who sacrificed a lot of their time over the past couple months juggling school and making time to practice and improve their golf game, said Head Coach Milby."We came a long ways as a golf team and will continue to get better with more hard work and sacrifice."
