Berea Loses Tough Match Against Franklin

Franklin, IN - Berea took to the road this weekend for a close game against Franklin on Friday. Good offense by Franklin meant that the Mountaineers were not quite able to bring back the win.  Berea eventually lost 2-1 making their record 3-5-0 for the season so far. 

After a slow start to the game, Franklin scored with less than 10 minutes left in the first half (38:12), and again with less than 5 minutes left (41:49).

Down 2-0 at the half, Berea was determined to come back. But they could only net one of the needed goals, which was scored by #10 Million Beshah, unassisted at 82:43.

Berea had 5 shots total and 5 saves.

Franklin had 18 shots and only 1 save.

Come out and support the Mountaineers at home on Tuesday against Spalding with kickoff scheduled at 7:00 PM.
