Berea Scores Twice in Second Half to Defeat Spalding 2-0

Berea, KY - Berea broke a three game on the road losing streak by winning at home on Tuesday, September 22 against Spalding. The first half of the game was evenly matched as the ball traveled back and forth across both sides of the field with neither team being able to find the goal.   It remained scoreless until halftime.  

Things turned around as Berea picked up some momentum going into the second half. A goal was scored by #17 Brad Camenisch and assisted by #10 Million Beshah less than 5 minutes into the second half. The second and final goal of the game was scored at 32:23 by #3 Jesse Massucco with an assist by #17 Brad Camensch.

Berea had 5 shots and Spalding had 7.

Defensively, Berea had 3 saves by goalkeeper Noah DeHart and Spalding only had 1.

Come out and support the Mountaineers on Sunday, September 27 as they play Sewanee. Kickoff is scheduled for 3:00 PM, approximately half an hour after the women's soccer game.
