Berea Falls 2-0 on the Road Against Piedmont

Demorest, GA - The Mountaineers traveled south to Georgia to take on NCAA Division III Piedmont College.  The Mountaineers played a good first half but in the end fell short to the lions 2-0.

An evenly matched first half left the game scoreless at halftime. At first, the shot numbers were low and almost even- Berea had 3 and Piedmont had 5 for the first half.

The second half was looking the same, until Piedmont offense picked up some momentum and scored at the 70:38 mark.  This was followed less than a minute later by the second and final goal of the game by Piedmont.  That goal gave the Lions a 2-0 lead that they were able to hold the remainder of the game.

Berea had 7 total shots, with #10 Million Beshah having the team high of 4 shots. Piedmont had 15 total shots.  Berea goalie Caleb Stringer had 4 saves and Piedmont only had 1.

Come out and support Berea at their final game of the regular season on Saturday, the 24th as they take on Johnson on senior day. Kickoff is scheduled for 2:30, approximately half an hour after the women's game.
