Men's Track and Field Take 9th Place at University of Cumberlands Invitational

The men's track and field team performed well at the University of the Cumberlands Invitational on Saturday. Berea scored a total of 35 points and finished 9th out of 22 competing schools. The meet consisted of two NCAA Division I school, six NCAA Division II schools, five NCAA Division III schools, and seven NAIA schools. Berea had one first place finisher- David Orr, who scored the maximum ten points in the Javelin Throw by throwing 60.02m. Orr holds the Javelin Throw record for this meet.

Emmanuell Kemei, 800m Run, 1:56.05, 4th Place- 6 points

Aldrin Vinton, Long Jump, 6.07m, 5th Place- 4 points

Tevin Webster, Long Jump, 6.05m, 7th Place- 2 points  

The track and field team will compete again Friday, April 17th at the Centre Twilight Meet in Danville, KY.
