USCAA Ranks Softball 10th in First Spring Coaches Poll

The chase for the 2015 USCAA Softball National Championship has officially begun with the release of the first Spring Coaches Poll. Berea was voted 10th in the first poll.

The Mountaineers finished with 239 points in this poll, trailing by only 15 points to Penn State Hazelton for the ninth spot in the poll. St. Mary of the Woods College is ranked first with 300 points. Berea will finish the season with sixth ranked University of Cincinnati-Clermont in a doubleheader series which could be pivotal in qualifying for the National Championship.

The top eight teams in the poll will qualifty for the 2015 USCAA Softball National Championship held on May 10-14 in Akron, OH.
