Three Women's Basketball Players Recieve USCAA All-American Honors

The Women's Basketball team thoroughly enjoyed themselves at tonight USCAA Basketball National Championship banquet held at Nemacolin Resort.  They had good reason to be happy as three members of the team were named All-American.

Senior, guard Johnesha Warren received First Team All-American honors; while freshman, guard Adriana Williams and freshman, center Alexus Calhoun were named Honorable Mention All-American.

The trio become the third, fourth and fifth Berea College Women's Basketball players to capture All-American honors; joining First Team selection Katie Lokits in 1989 and Honorable Mention selection Jeannie Kirk in 1995.  They also join Nick Robinson (Men's Cross Country - Second Team), Courtney Conners (Women's Soccer - Honorable Mention) and Simone Brown (Volleyball - First Team) as Berea College's USCAA All-Americans.

Calhoun, Warren and Williams and the rest of the Mountaineers will begin their drive for a National Championship tomorrow at 11:00 am when they take on St. Mary of the Woods.
