Mountaineers Fall to Alice Lloyd on the Road

PIPPA PASSES, KY – The Mountaineers traveled to Alice Lloyd College, where they lost a close game, falling 70-65.

Despite getting outscored in three of the four quarters, Berea was able to keep themselves in the game. Berea's largest lead came in the second quarter, when they led by six. Both teams put up a good fight, with the game having four separate lead changes and being tied three different times. The Mountaineers outscored the Eagles in the third quarter, but had their highest scoring performance in the fourth, where they put up 22 points.

Freshman Erica Rogers was Berea's high-scorer for the second straight game, with 20, going 6-8 from behind the arc. The Mountaineers were led in rebounds by Adriana Williams who grabbed six. Williams, along with Anna Loveless, each recorded two assists on the day.

Berea returns to action on Friday at 5:00 p.m., where they will play Wisconsin-Whitewater for their first game of the Manchester University Main View Tipoff Tournament, being held in Manchester, Indiana.
