Berea College Leads USCAA Director’s Cup Standings

Berea College Leads USCAA Director’s Cup Standings

The Berea College athletic teams continue to shine in the United States Collegiate Athletic Association. After the fall sports season, which produced multiple National Player of the Week Awards, multiple National All Academic Awards, three All-American awards and had four programs compete in their respective National Championships, the Mountaineers finished fifth in the fall season Director's Cup Standings with 350 points.

With the success of the men's and women's basketball programs, which both had top three finishes in Division I, Berea College jumped from fifth to first in the Director's Cup Standings after the winter season with 511.5 points. After winning the men's and women's basketball Division I championships, Daemen College had the highest jump in the standings going from ninth to second.

Director's Cup points are awarded for number of sport offerings and are also based on results from USCAA National Championship events. The final standings will be released following the presentation of the 2015 Director's Cup champion on June 8th at the USCAA National Convention. Full standings can be seen below.
