Berea, KY - Despite the afternoon heat, Berea fought hard but could not pull a win over NCAA Division III opponent Sewanee.  This loss brings Berea's overall record to 4-3.

Based on the 10 total fouls (7 of which came from Sewanee) and a yellow card for each team, fans could tell this was definitely an aggressive game.

Sewanee scored 4 of the goals in the first half. Berea fought a good fight but could not make it past the rough defense, leaving the halftime score 4-0.
Sewanee scored 2 more goals in the second half, leaving Berea scoreless.

Berea's goalies had a total of 4 saves compared to Sewanee's 2. Amber Follin had 3 and Eulah Perkins had 1.  

Come out and support the lady Mountaineers at the soccer complex on Wednesday, September 30 as they play Cincinnati Christian University. Kickoff is scheduled for 8:00 pm, or approximately half an hour after the men's game.
