Berea Falls Short on the Road

Louisville, KY - Berea came up short against NCAA Division III opponent Spalding in a 7-0 loss in Louisville Wednesday.  

Spalding took shots early and often with 15 coming in the first period. It was a balanced attack as three different players scored goals for Spalding in the first period. Berea struggled offensively only getting two shots off.

The second half started out with Spalding taking seven straight shots one of which would turn into their forth goal. Berea had a chance to score on a kick from Stevie Ridley but it was saved by Spalding's Kelsey Kaiser. Spalding took control for the rest of the period scoring 3 more goals in the 7-0 setback for Berea.

The Mountaineers will be back in action Saturday, Sept. 10 in Georgia where they will face LaGrange College at 1:30pm.
