Berea, KY- The volleyball team returned to the floor this evening, looking to move their winning streak to two games. The Midway College Eagles played the role of the visiting team tonight.
The match started out as a competitive match between the two teams before Berea went on a run to take an 18-13 advantage which forced a Midway timeout. The momentum changed tides as the Eagles came back to make the score 18-16, forcing the Mountaineers to call a timeout. Berea returned to the court looking to finish the set as they took a 21-19 lead, but Midway came back to tie it at 21. After long rallies from each team, the scoreboard read 23-23 but the ball fell in the favor of the Eagles as they won the first set 25-23.

A couple of service aces by Midway helped the visitors get back into the match as the Mountaineers lead dropped to just one, 19-18. To begin the third set, the teams battled back and forth before two services aces by the opponent pushed Midway's advantage to 9-6.
