Caroline Arthur is in her third year of assistant coaching for the Berea College Cheerleading team. She is a 2016 alumna of Berea College, earning a BA in Communication, a BS in Business Administration with a concentration in Marketing, and a minor in Broadcast Journalism. She spent 4 years as a Berea College Cheerleader, two years as captain and a member of the Student Athlete Advisory Committee. She also spent one semester cheering for the University of Westminster Dragons in London, England.
Caroline’s previous background is in classical ballet, pointe, and musical theatre. She was a former company member of the Schrader Youth Ballet Company located in Parkersburg, West Virginia. When she came to Berea for college, she tried out for the cheerleading squad her first year and has been committed to cheerleading ever since. She says that her commitment to this team increased her love for Berea and enthusiasm for athletics as a student, and she hopes that those who join the team feel the same about their time here. The cheerleading team works hard, and creates a deep bond over the course of their season, and Caroline feels that it is this deep bond that drives the team’s success.
She currently serves as the Alumni Relations Coordinator for Berea College, and is pursuing her MBA at Eastern Kentucky University. Caroline is enthusiastic about the 2018-2019 athletic season, and wishes all student athletes much success for the year.
