BEREA, KY. –

The Berea College Mountaineers traveled to Lookout Mountain, GA. to face USA South Conference rival Covenant College dropping the contest 9-0.

In doubles action for Berea #1 doubles team of Dakota Massucco and Michael Malpartida played a competitive game winning 2 sets but ultimately losing 8-2. #2 doubles team of Chris Malpartida and Juan Chavez Casiano list their set 8-3 while the #3 doubles team of James Weaver and Sam Slater lost their games 8-2.

In singles, the Mountaineers struggled, losing all of the matches. The bright spot was Sam Slater, Chris Malpartida, and Michael Malpartida were all able to win a set, while James Weaver was able to win three sets and Dakota Massucco was able to win 4.

The Mountaineers will be back in action Saturday, March 26th in a match against Maryville College hosted at the Wilson Evans Tennis Complex.
