Berea College

The Blue Crew is the official pep club of Mountaineer Athletics.  Though not an official campus organization, the group was founded in the fall of 2010 when former men's basketball coach John Hemenway and assistant Clint Farrar joined the Berea staff.  They were looking for a catchy phrase to name the student section for athletic events.  Coach Farrar saw the interlocking BC logo and, knowing our colors were royal and white, penned the name Blue Crew and a new tradition was born.
