BEREA, KY.

The Berea College(1-8-1, 0-3-0) Men's soccer team suffered a conference loss against Huntington College(6-5-1, 2-0-1) at the Hawks home field on Saturday, October 2nd. In the first half the Hawks scored 2 goals placing them on a lead. In the second half due to the immense heat the Hawks started slowing down allowing the Mountaineers to have more ball control and chances to score but unfortunately the Mountaineers couldn't execute.
The Mountaineers had a total of 3 shots in the first half and 9 shots in the second half for a total of 12 shots. The Mountaineers also had a total of 3 saves in the first half and 3 saves in the second half for a total of 6 saves.
The Mountaineers will take on Brevard College(5-1-3, 0-0-2) a USA SOUTH match at home on Saturday, October 9th, with the starting kick-off at 2 p.m.
