Berea, KY-- The Berea College Men's Soccer Team was unable to win their first home game of the season against the Covenant College Scots. The Mountaineers were able to get on the board first in the game from a rocket by Brandon Atu in the 8^th minute of the game. Unfortunately, the Scots responded with 4 unanswered goals to beat the Mountaineers 4-1.

-Freshman Goalkeeper Zach Long was able to record 6 saves in the game, including two point blank saves
- Brandon Atu was able to score his first colligate goal of his career on a screamer from well outside the box
-Sophomore Christoff Mendy was all over the backline for the Mountaineers, blocking multiple shots for the Mountaineers as well as relieving pressure for the rest of the defense
