Maryville, TN - Berea women's soccer team went back on the road to face the Maryville College Scots. The Mountaineers were unable to take home a victory and are still on their quest to win their first game of the season.

The Scots started the game strong and never looked back, scoring the 1^st goal in the first 5 minutes of the game off a corner kick. The Scots were able to stay dominant, holding possession of the ball and limiting the Mountaineers 1 shot, 0 shots on goal. Lindsey Lewallen was able to score in the 32^nd and the 63^rd minute of the game, assisted by Lexie Hill. Taylor Frizen was able to score in the 19^th minute of the game, assisted by Bailey Sipos. Also, Frizen was then able to score off a corner kick from Jenna Clothier. Bailey Sipos was able to score in the 32^nd minute assisted by Jenna Clothier and Lexie Hill, then the 58^th minute assisted by Lexie Hill.

The Scots fired off 42 shots, 17 on goal and were able to get awarded with 18 corner kicks. The Mountaineers were able to record 9 saves.

Up next, the Mountaineers will be on the road again against Sewanee: The University of the South on March 14^th. Kick-off is set at 1:00 PM.
