BREVARD, NC.- The Berea College Mountaineers traveled to USA South Conference rival Brevard College and fell 8-1 

In doubles, the #1 doubles team of Lavar Pharris and Jordan Peterson dropped their match 8-3. Mike Mecham and John Whitaker, the #2 doubles put up a strong effort but fell 8-2. #3 doubles team James Bailey and Bek Rakhimov lost 8-1 in their match.

In singles, the Mountaineers were able to get a win from Mike Mecham, who was able to win his match 4-6, 6-3, 11-9.  #3 singles John Whitaker was able to win 2 games in his match and lost 6-0, 6-2. James Bailey was able to win 2 games in his match, but lost 6-2, 6-0. Zack Muse was able to win a game in his match but lost 6-1, 6-0.

The Mountaineers will be back in action March 7th, hosting Huntingdon College.
