CLERMONT, Fla. – The Berea College softball team split their two contests of the day as they defeated Thomas College 9-6 and fell to D'Youville College 7-0 on Monday afternoon.
BEREA COLLEGE VS. THOMAS COLLEGE
The Mountaineer offense heated up quickly against Thomas College racking up five runs in the first inning with hits from freshman

Karlie Harris. Thomas College quickly answered back tying the game in the second inning, 5-5.

Juliann Kirby to pull out a victory finishing the game with a score of 9-6. Senior
Ashley Spencer shut the door on the Trainers with a double play to end the game as the Mountaineers secured their first win in Florida.
