Mountaineers Place Top-Five in Wittenberg Invitational

SPRINGFIELD, Ohio.- The Berea College Mountaineers men's cross country team placed fifth in the Wittenberg University Invitational on Saturday morning.

The Mountaineers finished with 142 total points and an average time of 2:21:10 minutes.
 
Senior Luke Wilson was in eleventh place and finished first for the Mountaineers with a time of 26:57.7 minutes.
 
Other notable finishes for Berea College were junior Robert Immell in twelfth (27:00.0), junior Silas Fair in 42nd (28:34.6), senior Noah Reasoner in 44th (28:40.5), junior Larry Branch in 71st (29:56.7), and freshmen Nathan Goodpaster in 110th (35:56.5).
 
The Mountaineers return to action on Sept.17th in the Mike and Mary Kay Johnson Classic in Berea, Ky.
