BEREA, Ky.- The Berea Mountaineers played their first conference game against Wesleyan College this Saturday, September 24^th. The final score of today's game was 2-0, with a Mountaineer win.

After a scoreless first half, the Mountaineers finally got on the scoreboard as sophomore Alyssa Tittsworth took a gret pass by junior Corinne Fojtek and netted the ball to put Berea out in front 1-0. The scoring did not stop there as senior Abigail Hansford put another one in the back of the net for a penalty kick. The shooting did not stop there as Berea registered 42 shots on goal, eight corner kicks, and four fouls.

Defensively the Berea Mountaineers held strong as Wesleyan had 0 shots on goal and only three corner kicks throughout the entire match.

The Mountaineers play again on Tuesday, September 27th at 4:00 p.m against Brevard College at the Berea College Sports Complex.
