HARRODSBURG, Ky. – The Berea College men's basketball team had a great night shooting the ball as they scored their season-high in a 100-70 win over Campbellsville University- Harrodsburg on Tuesday night.
With the win, the Mountaineers improve to 8-5 overall.
The last time the Mountaineers scored at least 100 points was on December 17th, 2019, in a 100-94 win over Pfeiffer University.
Sophomore
Trey Minter scored a game-high 33 points (12-18, 4-5 3PT, 5-5 FT) and dropped four assists. This is Minter's third time scoring at least 30 points this season. Senior
Isaac Caudill notched a double-double with 18 points (7-11, 4-7 3PT) and a career-high 16 rebounds. Freshman
Bryce Riley scored a career-high 15 points (4-10, 3-6 3PT, 4-4 FT), and sophomore
Jarel Montgomery finished with 13 points and four assists.
The Mountaineers shot well from all over the court as they finished 38 for 70 overall, 14 for 28 from beyond the arc, and 10 for 11 from the charity stripe. Defensively, Berea forced 16 Pioneers' turnovers and 33.3 percent shooting from three-point land.
The Berea College men's basketball team turn their sights towards conference play, hosting Belhaven University on Friday. Tipoff is scheduled for 7 p.m. at the Seabury Center.
