BEREA, Ky. - Bailee Franklin scored two goals and Alyssa Tittsworth added another to lead the Berea College women's soccer team to a 3-2 victory over Ohio Christian Monday night in Berea.

The Mountaineers led for much of the contest, taking an early 1-0 lead on Tittsworth's goal at the 11:00 mark, which was assisted by Franklin.  Franklin then scored two goals putting the Mountaineers in control with a 3-0 advantage.  Ohio Christian mounted a late rally, scoring two goals in the final seven minutes, but Berea held on for the win.

For the game, Berea took 31 shots and Mountaineer keeper Kyla Simmons recorded six saves.

Berea hits the road this weekend for two critical conference games.  The first stop will be at Agnes Scott College on Thursday for a 3:30 PM start, followed by a match-up with Wesleyan College in Macon, GA, at noon on Saturday.
