BEREA, Ky. - The Berea College Women's Soccer regular season ended on Saturday with a 1-1 tie against conference opponent LaGrange College.
Berea fell behind early after a quick score from the Panthers but, after an
Alyssa Tittsworth shot was blocked, senior
Naomi Scott booted the loose ball into the back of the net to tie the game in the twenty-sixth minute. Defenses from both teams stiffened and held off all attacks for the remainder of the game, with Berea keeper
Kyla Simmons recording six total saves. The Mountaineers ended the match with 10 total shots, five being on goal.

Hannah Howell were all recognized before the start of the game on Saturday.
The tie places the Mountaineers as the #7 seed in the Collegiate Conference of the South Women's Soccer standings. Berea will open play in the conference tournament next Saturday at #2 seed Belhaven.
