In their second match of the afternoon Berea soundly defeated Agnes Scott 3-0 (25-8, 25-16, 25-14).  Seniors Vanessa Ramic, Brenda Davila and Julie Santana paced the Berea attack with five kills each, while senior Amanda Castro Diaz was the team leader in digs (7).

Just before the Agnes Scott match, Berea honored the playing careers of their six seniors - Vanessa Ramic, Brenda Davila, Julie Santana, Amanda Castro Diaz, Isabel Marquez and Hannah Martin, as well as team manager C.J. Verbeck.

Berea (14-10, 10-4 CCS) has won five straight conference matches and currently sits in a tie for third place heading into the final week of the conference schedule.  The Mountaineers will host Spalding on Tuesday in a non-conference matchup before heading to Alabama next weekend for an important tri-match against host Huntingdon College and Piedmont University.
