Demoreset, GA - Berea College Men's Cross Country placed third overall in the Collegiate Conference of the South (CCS) on Saturday at Piedmont University.
After finishing 1st in 2022, the Berea Mountaineers Men's program recorded a 3rd place finish. The team recorded victories over Belhaven, Maryville (Tenn.) and LaGrange. Lead by Robert Immell, the Mountaineers left Georgia with a Runner of the Year award. The runners that scored for the men in the 8k Championship include Silas Fair, Jonathon Bolanos, Larry Branch, and Andrew Bratcher.
Immell followed up his 2nd place finish in 2022, to finish first overall. Immell lead from the gun to tape, with a winning time of 26:53.5, winning by 42 seconds over second place.
