Montgomery, AL - The Berea College women's basketball team continued its impressive performance in conference play, securing a resounding 86-56 victory over Huntingdon. With this win, Berea remains undefeated in conference play at 6-0, solidifying their position as a dominant force in their division.
Berea's exceptional performance was highlighted by their proficiency at the free-throw line, where they achieved a remarkable 78.6% success rate, going 11-14. Additionally, the team demonstrated their defensive prowess by capitalizing on turnovers, scoring an impressive 15 points off opponent errors.
Key players made significant contributions to Berea's victory, with Jayden Merriweather leading the team with 17 points and 6 rebounds. LynKaylah James also delivered a standout performance, contributing 16 points and securing 8 rebounds. Atyia Moss and Drea Satori further bolstered Berea's success with Moss having 14 points and 7 rebounds, and Satori dropping 11 points, 6 rebounds, and 6 assists.
