Berea, KY - The Berea Mountaineers Women's basketball team secured a decisive conference win against Agnes Scott with a dominating 83-40 victory at home.

Kayla McClendon and Ashyia Maddickes led the team's scoring efforts with 12 points each, with Maddickes achieving a season-high score. LynKaylah James showcased her consistent performance with another impressive double-double, contributing 10 points and 10 rebounds. Atyia Moss also contributed significantly to the team's performance with 10 points and 8 rebounds. Jayden Merriweather notably scored 7 of her 10 points in the final 4 minutes of the 3rd quarter.

The Mountaineers displayed remarkable depth, with the bench contributing 41 points to the team's total score. Additionally, defensive efforts were evident as they capitalized on Scotties' turnovers, scoring 24 points off these opportunities. With this victory, the Mountaineers maintain a 3-0 record in conference play.
