MARYVILLE, TN - LynKaylah James 20 points and 10 rebounds leads Berea to a solid win over the Maryville Scotts on the road.

Berea's 49.2% in the field was helped greatly by Jayden Merriweather's willingness to shoot from beyond the arc. Merriweather shot 4 for 7 in an impressive win over the Maryville Scotts by a score of 83-54. Berea's impressive shooting carried over to the free throw line as Dailyn Spalding connected on all four of her free throws for the night, leading to a team's total percentage to 72.7% at the free throw line. With 8 defensive rebounds and two offensive rebounds, LynKaylah James led the team in rebounds as well as points (20). Jayden Merriweather's stat sheet included 16 points to go along with her 5 steals on the night. Freshman Atyia Moss had a stellar game with 14 points, 5 rebounds, and one 3-point bucket.

Berea will look to continue their shooting skills in their next game against LaGrange in Georgia on January 12^th.
