WILMINGTON, OH – The Berea College women's cross-country team delivered a strong performance at the Jenna Strong Classic 5K on October 18, 2024, securing an impressive 6th place finish in a competitive field. The team recorded a total score of 176 points, completing the race with a cumulative time of 1:40:31 and an average time of 20:07 per runner.
Sophomore
Madison Stonestreet led the Mountaineers with a remarkable 2nd place finish, clocking in at 18:32.1. Fellow sophomore
Muhorakeye Joyeuse closely followed, finishing in 6th place with a time of 18:48.3. Junior
Carah Anteck also made significant contributions, placing 23rd with a time of 19:44.6. Sophomore
Chrystal Cornwell and senior
Summer Bahr rounded out the scoring team, finishing 67th (21:29.5) and 78th (21:55.9), respectively.
