BEREA, KY – Women's soccer team achieved a decisive 4-0 victory over Wesleyan College (GA). The Mountaineers generated significant offensive pressure throughout the match, recording 20 shots, with 13 on target, compared to Wesleyan's 3 shots, all of which were saved.
Sara Knight led Berea's scoring with two goals, both assisted by
Payton Bugg, coming at 00:50 and 54:24. Additional goals were contributed by
Kristin Fischli and
Korie Dickson in the final 10 minutes, assisted by
Addison McLaughlin and
Avyn Willis, respectively. Berea goalkeeper
Kyla Simmons completed the match with three saves, contributing to the team's shutout performance.
The women's soccer team will have an away game against Anderson University in Anderson, IN, on October 30.
