LEXINGTON, KY – The Berea College Mountaineers faced off against the Transylvania Pioneers at the Clive Beck Center but were defeated in straight sets, with scores of 10-25, 18-25, and 16-25.

Alexis McCullough led Berea with 8 kills on a .190 hitting percentage, adding 4 digs and contributing 9.5 points. Adrianna Ocasio Fonseca supported the offense with 6 kills at a .158 hitting percentage and 2 digs, totaling 6.5 points. Deanna De La Torre recorded 5 kills and 10 digs, while Idymel Ayala Rivera directed the offense with 10 assists and 3 digs. Nashaliz Garcia contributed with 3 kills, hitting .250, and added 2 block assists. Zoe Fields led the defense with 7 digs, and Brianna Negron Torres provided 10 assists along with a service ace.
