With a scoreless first two innings for the Mountaineers, LaGrange was first on the board scoring one run in the bottom of the first and another run in the bottom of the second inning. Going into the top of the third inning, the Mountaineers scored two runs, leaving LaGrange scoreless in the bottom of the third inning. The Mountaineers were scoreless for the fourth and fifth inning of the game, but LaGrange scored one run in the bottom of the fourth and five runs in the bottom of the fifth inning. The Mountaineers remained scoreless going into the top of the sixth inning, LaGrange kept adding to their lead scoring another five runs in the bottom of the sixth. In the top of the seventh inning the mountaineers managed to score one run. The final score of the game was 13-3.

Game Two: Berea 2, LaGrange 12

The Mountaineers remained cold going into game two, with a scoreless three innings of the game. LaGrange scored one run in the bottom of the first, two runs in the bottom of the second, and four runs in the bottom of the third. Going into the top of the fourth inning, the Mountaineers managed to score one run. LaGrange remained scoreless in the bottom of the fourth inning. Both LaGrange and Berea remained scoreless during the fifth inning of the game. The Mountaineers got on the board again scoring another run in the top of the sixth inning, leaving LaGrange scoreless again. The Mountaineers remained scoreless for the rest of the game, but LaGrange scored four runs in the bottom of the seventh innings and one run in the bottom of the eighth inning. The final score of the game was 12-2.Â

Going into the top of the first inning in game three, the Mountaineers were scoreless. LaGrange on the other hand got on the board first, scoring four runs. Going into the second inning of the game, the Mountaineers answered back scoring four runs in the top of the first. Those runs were scored by a homerun from
Talon Yates, scoring
Jay Nunez, another home run from
Marcelo Manrique, scoring
Justin Brown. LaGrange struggled to answer back in the second inning. Both teams were scoreless in the third inning of the game. With a scoreless fourth inning for the Mountaineers, LaGrange scored one run in the bottom of the fourth inning. In the fifth inning of the game, both teams struggled to get on the board, but the Mountaineers managed to score one run in the top of the sixth inning, leaving LaGrange struggling to get on the board again. With a scoreless seventh inning for the Mountaineers, LaGrange added five more runs to their lead going into the eighth inning.
