Berea, KY- The Mountaineers face Wesleyan College in a double header matchup. The Mountaineers lost both games, with the scores being 2-11 and 5-10.

Game One: Berea 2, Wesleyan College 11

At the top of the first inning, Wesleyan managed to put up one run on the board, leaving the Mountaineers scoreless going into the top of the second inning. Wesleyan continued adding to their lead in the top of the second inning, scoring three runs. The Mountaineers were still scoreless going into the top of the third inning. In the top of the third inning, Wesleyan College scored two runs, but the Mountaineers answered back, also scoring two. Both teams were scoreless going into the fourth and fifth innings of the game. Wesleyan made sure their lead was secure by adding five more runs in the top of the sixth inning, and leaving the Mountaineers scoreless. The final score of the game was 11-2, with Wesleyan College taking game one.Â

Game Two: Berea 5, Wesleyan College 10

Wesleyan College kept their scoring streak hot, scoring four runs in the top of the first inning. The Mountaineers were not able to score in the bottom of the first inning. Going into the second inning, Wesleyan College was scoreless, but the Mountaineers managed to score a run off a wild pitch, advancing
Mackenzie Howell home. In the top of the third inning, Wesleyan answered back, scoring one run, leaving the Mountaineers scoreless going into the top of the fourth inning. Wesleyan College was scoreless in the fourth and fifth innings of the game; the Mountaineers scored one run in the fourth and another in the fifth. Both the Mountaineers and Wesleyan College scored two runs in the sixth inning of the game. The Mountaineers were not able to score in the seventh inning of the game, leaving Wesleyan to add three more runs to their lead. The final score of the game was 10-5.
