COVENANT TAKES DOWN WOMEN'S SOCCER IN FIRST HOME CONTEST

BEREA, KY - Berea's Women Soccer contested their first home game of the season this past weekend on a hot, stormy day against past rival Covenant College. Despite facing a defeat of 0-3 from the Scots of Covenant, Berea played a very strong first half, with the score set 0-0 before facing lighting delays.

The Mountaineer's goalie Addison McLaughlin totaled 6 saves, 4 in the first half and 2 in the second.

For next week, the Mountaineers are on the road Monday playing at Asbury University at 7:30P.M., then will be bringing it back home to play Johnson University of Tennessee Wednesday evening at 7:00P.M. at Berea's Soccer Field.
