MEN'S SOCCER UNABLE TO COMPLETE COMEBACK AGAINST CENTRE

DANVILLE, KY- The short drive to Centre College hands Berea College their second road lost of the season. Early on, miscues from the defense lead to a shot by Colonels AJ Daniels. this early deficit was added to right before half as a shot went to the right corner. This made the score 2-0 only for a short time as defender Peter Mensah scored a goal to make the score 2-1 right after half time. This would remain the score till the end of the game.

The total shots for Berea was 8 (5 on goal) compared to the 25 (11) for Centre. The mountaineers also attempted zero corners compared to the 12 they gave up. Both teams were given 1 yellow card. The colonels committed 15 fouls to the 8 committed by Berea. 

Next up on the schedule, Berea travels to Berry College (GA) on September the 13th and will turn around to face Belhaven University (MS) on September the 14th. Both games will take place at 3pm.
