Game 2: Berea Prevails Against Manchester 1–0
Berea rebounded on October 11 with a gritty and hard fought 1–0 road win over Manchester University at Good Field. Midfielder Jessica Powell delivered the match-winning goal in the 47th minute, firing a low strike into the net shortly after halftime. Goalkeeper Addison McLaughlin earned her second shutout of the season with two key saves, supported by a steady defensive unit anchored by Kennedy Bugg, Haley Trowel, and Nancy Perez. Berea outshot Manchester 12–3, including six on goal, and earned five corner kicks while controlling the pace of play throughout.
