Berea Volleyball Wins Two of Three in Home Weekend Series
Game 1: Mountaineers Defeat Huntingdon College (3–1)

The Berea College Women's Volleyball team opened their home weekend with an impressive 3–1 victory over Huntingdon College. Kamila Zelaya led the Mountaineers with 15 kills and 10 digs, while Nashaliz Garcia followed closely with 14 kills and 3 blocks. Genesis Casillas added 11 kills and 1 block. Setter Kiara Arzuaga ran the offense with 50 assists, 14 digs, and 4 aces. Defensively, Amelie Cora Rolland anchored the back row with 17 digs and 6 assists.

Game 2: Berea Sweeps Piedmont University (3–0)
Location: Berea, KY — October 10
Berea carried its momentum into Friday night, earning a 3–0 sweep over Piedmont University. Casillas posted another strong showing with 11 kills and 14 digs, while Garcia added 7 kills, 3 aces, and 2 blocks. Zelaya contributed 6 kills, and Aryanna Erosa added 3 aces. Sol Yashira Rodríguez Nazario chipped in 2 aces and 10 digs. Arzuaga recorded 22 assists, while Brianna Negron Torres and Madison Spradling combined for 16 more. Rolland once again led defensively with 16 digs.

Game 3: Mountaineers Fall to Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology (0–3)
Location: Berea, KY — October 11
In their final match of the weekend, Berea faced a tough Rose-Hulman team and fell in straight sets. Garcia led the attack with 8 kills, 3 aces, and 2 blocks, while Casillas added 6 kills and Zelaya 4. Erosa contributed on both sides of the ball with 13 digs, 1 block, and 1 assist. Arzuaga totaled 21 assists and 12 digs, and Rolland anchored the back row with 17 digs.
