The Mountaineers opened Week 7 with a tough 2–0 home loss to Hanover College on October 15 at home. Hanover took an early lead in the 21st minute through Andrew Pavlisko and later doubled their advantage in the 59th minute via a penalty kick from Patricio Campos. Game 2: Berea Narrowly Defeated by Anderson 2–1
Berea returned home on October 18 to face Anderson University, falling 2–1 in a competitive conference matchup. After a scoreless first half, Anderson struck in the 46th minute, but the Mountaineers responded in the 73rd minute when Tobore Takpor calmly converted a penalty kick to tie the match. Anderson regained the lead late with an 83rd-minute goal that sealed the result. Berea outshot the visitors 17–14 and matched them in corner kicks (5–5), showing strong attacking improvement. Eris Acosta tallied four saves, while Carlos Field-Bennett and Will Godby led the offensive pressure with multiple shots on goal.
