WOMEN'S T&F SHINES AT CENTRE INDOOR INVITATIONAL 

DANVILLE, KY – The Berea College women's track and field team showcased their talent at the Centre Indoor Invitational, securing strong finishes across multiple events. 

Katerina Kovalevskaya delivered one of the top performances for the Mountaineers, finishing 9th in the 200 Meter Dash with a time of 27.71 seconds. In the field events, Angel Patterson competed well in the 60 Meter Dash, clocking 8.64 seconds for a 15th place finish. 

Long-distance standout Erin Chambers impressed in the 5000 Meters, claiming 5th place with a time of 20:07.74. Meanwhile, the Distance Medley Relay team of Muhorakeye Joyeuse, Kymiah Blair, Kristin Fischli, and Madison Stonestreet dominated their race, finishing 1st with a time of 12:46.60.

The women's team will look to carry this momentum forward as they head to Terre Haute, IN, for the John Gartland Invitational on February 22, aiming for even more success in upcoming competitions.
