WOMEN'S T&F SHOWS STRONG EFFORT AT JOHN GARTLAND INVITATIONAL 

TERRE HAUTE, IN – The Berea College women's track and field team delivered standout performances at the John Gartland Invitational, highlighted by strong results in sprint and mid-distance events. 

Kymiah Blair led the way for the Mountaineers with a podium finish in the 200 Meter Dash, claiming 3rd place in 25.80 seconds. Jakeisha Lewis contributed in the 400 Meter Dash, finishing 12th in 1:04.05. Peyton Potts ran a solid race in the 800 Meter Run, crossing the line 14th with a time of 2:39.16.

· Kymiah Blair | 3rd Place | 200 Meter Dash: 25.80 

· Jakeisha Lewis | 12th Place | 400 Meter Dash: 1:04.05 

· Peyton Potts | 14th Place | 800 Meter Run: 2:39.16 

The women's team will aim to carry this momentum forward as they continue preparing for the HCAC Indoor Conference Championships in Anderson ,IN on March 1.
