Women's Track & Field Impresses at Steemer Showcase
Springfield, OH – February 1, 2025
The Berea College women's track and field team showcased their strength and talent at the Steemer Showcase on February 1. Senior Kymiah Blair led the Mountaineers with an impressive 4th-place finish in the 60 Meter Dash, posting a time of 7.92 seconds.
In the 400 Meter Dash, sophomore Ashyia Maddickes placed 13th with a time of 1:02.26, while sophomore Katerina Kovalevskaya finished 10th in 1:02.07. Junior Madison Stonestreet delivered a solid performance in the Mile Run, finishing 6th overall with a time of 5:26.78.
In the 800 Meter Run, sophomore Muhorakeye Joyeuse earned 11th place in 2:52.06, and junior Kristin Fischli finished 14th with a time of 2:24.60.

The women's team will be back in action at the Centre Invitational & Multis on February 14 in Danville, KY.
