WOMEN'S SOCCER WEEK 4 RECAP

Game 1: Berea Defeats Warren Wilson 3-0
On September 20, the Mountaineers earned a dominant shutout win at the Berea Sports Complex. Payton Bugg opened the scoring in the 11th minute. This would be followed by a penalty kick goal from Danitza Roldan at 23:30. Sara Knight sealed the match with a 47th-minute strike assisted by Kristin Fischli. Berea out shot Warren Wilson 11–2 and held a 3–0 advantage at the final whistle. Goalkeeper Elana Horne made one save to secure the clean sheet.

Game 2: Berea Edges Huntingdon 1-0
The following day, Berea would deliver yet another strong performance, defeating Huntingdon 1-0. The lone goal came in the 34th minute when Sara Knight took advantage from another assist from Kristin Fischli. Berea produced 21 shots (12 on target), while goalkeeper Addison McLaughlin posted two saves to preserve the shutout. The Mountaineers' defense stayed firm, fending off 11 shots and five corner kicks from Huntingdon.
Berea will look to extend their winning streak as they host Alice Lloyd College (Ky.) on Wednesday, September 24 at 6:00 PM at Berea College Soccer Field.
