Berea Ties Rose-Hulman 1-1
On September 27 in Terre Haute, Indiana, the Mountaineers earned their first conference point of the season with a gritty performance. Rose-Hulman opened the scoring in the 12th minute through Eli Miller, but Berea's defense and goalkeeper Marcus Bishop (3 saves) held firm the rest of the way. The equalizer came in the 82nd minute when Tobore Takpor scored his first goal of the year off a setup from Ombeni Shandera. Berea generated six shots, including two on target from Takpor, while Rose-Hulman finished with 10 shots and nine corner kicks.
 

Berea will return to action on Wednesday, October 1, traveling to Wilmore, KY, to face Asbury University.
