BEREA, Ky. — The Berea College women's soccer team played two conference matches on the road this week, falling 4–0 to Transylvania University on Wednesday, Oct. 14, before dropping a 4–0 decision to Anderson University on Saturday, Oct. 17.

Match 1: Transylvania 4, Berea 0

Oct. 14 | Lexington, Ky.

The Mountaineers traveled to Transylvania University on Wednesday for a conference matchup, falling 4–0. Berea struggled to generate consistent offense against the Pioneers, recording limited scoring opportunities as Transylvania secured the shutout.

Jessica Baird recorded a shot on goal for the Mountaineers during 78 minutes of action. Despite the defensive effort, Berea was unable to find the back of the net and looked to bounce back in its next conference matchup.

Match 2: Anderson 4, Berea 0

Oct. 17 | Anderson, Ind.

Berea traveled to Anderson University on Saturday looking to rebound from its midweek loss. Anderson took an early lead in the 25th minute when Mailee Cornette scored, sending the Mountaineers into halftime trailing 1–0.

Anderson added three goals in the second half, with Cornette scoring twice more to complete her hat trick. Despite the setback, Berea goalkeeper LaDeja Driver recorded eight saves across 90 minutes of action while facing consistent pressure from the Anderson offense.

Offensively, the Mountaineers recorded four shots, including two on goal. Jessica Powell led Berea with two shots, while Jessica Baird and Molly Neal each recorded a shot on goal. Berea was unable to find the back of the net and fell to 0-10-2 overall and 0-5-1 in conference play.
