The Berea College Women's Track and Field team competed at the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference Outdoor Track and Field Championships hosted by Transylvania University on Saturday, April 23, 2026. The Mountaineers took to the track and outperformed many expectations putting up several scoring marks in both the field and running events. Highlighted by a 4x400m relay, Berea college closes their season as the 7th best team in the conference.

• Women's 400m: Katerina Kovalevskaya — 4th (59.77); Alexzandria Hampton — 8th (1:02.27)
• Women's 800m: Kristin Fischli — 3rd (2:18.79 ); Muhorakeye Joyeuse — 6th (2:26.23);  Madison Stonestreet — 7th (2:26.24);  
• Women's 1500m: Madison Stonestreet — 5th (4:51.32)
• Women's 400m Hurdles: Lily Arreola — 7th (1:15.64)
• Women's 3000m Steeplechase: Crystal Cornwell — 7th (13:06.69)
• Women's 4x400 Relay: Hampton, Fischli, Kovalevskaya, and Stonestreet — 2nd (4:01.97)
• Long Jump: Oriana Perez Pena — 8th (4.81m)
• Triple Jump: Arianna Cooper — 2nd (10.47m)
• Hammer Throw: Timeria Jackson — 11th (34.69m)

Overall, the Mountaineers recorded several strong performances and podium finishes at the conference championships and will next compete at the Jim Green Track and Field Invitational on May 1, 2026, hosted by the University of Kentucky.
