Mountaineers Shine at Emory Dooley Invitational

The Berea College Mountaineers women's track and field team traveled to Emory University on April 4, 2026, to compete at the Emory Dooley Invitational. The team battled fiercely against top competition in both field and track events, delivering outstanding performances. Kristin Fischli was the top performer of the day, posting a top 10 time in the region. Freshmen Ashleigh Alcott and Lily Arreola also achieved significant personal bests in the long jump and 400-meter hurdles, respectively.

Event Highlights:

• Women's 800 Meter Run: Kristin Fischli placed 5th with a time of 2:19.43.
• Women's 1500 Meter Run: Madison Stonestreet finished 10th with a time of 12:03.96.
• Women's 4x400 Meter Relay: The team of Savannah Anderson, Nika Davenport, Muhorakeete Joyeuse, and Kristin Fischli placed 8th with a time of 4:15.35.

Berea College put its best foot forward on the day and will look to improve even more as the HCAC championships approach.
